This series documents the wild and domesticated flora around our property. These arrangements are assembled from items I stumble upon in my walks and are necessarily seasonal. Some of the smaller and easily ignored items take on a different life when placed together with more common flowers. Wildflower season is the best and is quite fleeting but there is flora year round. It is just a matter of looking around for things that are interesting.

All images were created using a document scanner as the camera. Depth of field is quite shallow and pollen gets everywhere but the results document the seasons of where we live.
